Which format should I use?
EPS – EPS is the right choice for use with advanced graphics software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Freehand) or desktop publishing programs (e.g., QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign). The EPS format is resolution independent (not based on pixels). Vector-based EPS graphics are the best option for high quality printing and publishing.
JPG – JPG is a popular compressed image format for use with photographs or images with many colors. One of the most common types of image files used online, it has the ability to reduce file sizes with minimal loss of detail.
